Biography

Maria Cecil is a PhD Student within the School of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment at Edinburgh Napier University. Prior to undertaking the PhD programme, Maria completed an MScR in Science and Technology Studies at the University of Edinburgh. Maria is a qualified careers advisor who holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Career Guidance and Development. Maria began her studies at West Lothian College, where she completed a HND in Business Management before undertaking her bachelors degree in Business at Edinburgh Napier. Maria has extensive work experience in a customer facing role, with specialisms in financial operations, inventory management and visual merchandising.
