Transnational education (TNE) gives students around the world the opportunity to study a degree awarded by Edinburgh Napier without leaving their home country.

The International Programmes team works closely with academic colleagues to support the development and delivery of transnational education (TNE) programmes in collaboration with partners around the world. Our most established partnerships in Hong Kong date back over 40 years and we now have around 3,000 students studying our degrees overseas.

We provide support and advice on the development of new TNE programmes, as well as providing full administrative support for all current TNE programmes.

TNE is central to our internationalisation strategy, and we have ambitions to establish new partnerships in different regions of the globe. Our partnerships allow students the opportunity to study an Edinburgh Napier degree closer to home, and still be part of the Edinburgh Napier University experience.
