Course details

This is a one-year full-time course based at City of Glasgow College, designed for students with an HND in hospitality or a related subject. The course offers a strong foundation in international hospitality management and helps you develop practical skills to succeed in this dynamic and global industry.

You'll enter directly into Year 3 of the BA programme. After completing this year successfully, you will gain a Bachelor's degree from Edinburgh Napier University. You may then choose to progress to Year 4 at the university to achieve an Honours degree.

The course covers key areas such as food and beverage management, business development, leadership, and service management. You'll gain valuable skills in teamwork, communication, critical thinking, problem solving, decision making and professional presentation,  all highly valued by employers in the hospitality sector.

Although you'll study at City of Glasgow College, you’ll be officially enrolled as a student of Edinburgh Napier University and have access to university resources and support.

Pass HND in Hospitality or Professional Cookery with grades BB at SCQF Level 8 in the graded unit(s).

The course fees you'll pay and the funding available to you will depend on a number of factors including your nationality, location, personal circumstances and the course you are studying. We also have a number of bursaries and scholarships available to our students.

Students from England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and Republic of Ireland will be invoiced the tuition fees for 3 years of their 4 years of study.

If additional compulsory costs other than the tuition fees are applicable, these will be detailed in the course details.
