Undergraduate

To apply for our bachelors courses, you should have completed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) with overall 60% or above in the Intermediate (10+2) (XII Standard) exam.

Advanced entry to year two

Students with grades over 75% and above in year 12 of CBSC, ISC and State Education boards across India may be offered year 2 entry. Specific subject requirements may apply.

Postgraduate

You will be eligible to apply if you have gained a bachelors degree with overall grade of 55% or above. 

For our MSC Computing with Professional Placement course you will need an overall grade of 60% or above.

Edinburgh Napier University International College (ENUIC) is an embedded on campus college for international students to start their studies at Edinburgh Napier University. It is located in the historic, city centre campus of Merchiston, with easy access to student accommodation.

Pathway programmes at ENUIC prepare students for their chosen future degree with academic and English language support. ENUIC offers students the option between International Stage One, International Stage Two, or an International Incorporated Masters. 

International Year One
English language requirement – IELTS 5.5 with no less than 5.5 in each component.

Academic requirement - Indian School Certificate / Higher Secondary Certificate / Standard 12: 45%

International Year Two

English language requirement – IELTS 5.5 with no less than 5.5 in each component.

Academic requirement - Indian School Certificate / Higher Secondary Certificate / Standard 12: Successful completion of Standard X11 with 50% average

International Incorporated Masters
– One Term IELTS 6.0 overall with 5.5 minimum in all components
– Two Terms IELTS 5.5 overall with 5.5 minimum in all components

Academic requirement - Higher Diploma/Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree: Higher Diploma or Associate degree grades of 60% or GPA 2.7 or Successful completion of a Bachelor degree with a minimum of 40%

English language requirements

Undergraduate

If you have 70% or higher in English in the Indian HSC Intermediate (10+2) (XII Standard) exam, you may be considered for undergraduate study without a further English test on a case-by-case basis. Requirements may vary dependent on State.

Postgraduate

You should have 70% or higher in English in the Indian HSC Intermediate (10+2) (XII Standard) exam and have completed an undergraduate degree taught and examined in English within the past 5 years. If you graduated more than 5 years ago, we will consider your application on a case-by-case basis. Requirements may vary dependent on State.
