Undergraduate 

Our minimum entry requirements are: 

• Four courses with grades A or B; plus
• All other courses at grade C or better.

Postgraduate 

You will be eligible to apply if you have gained a bachelors degree with a lower second class (2:2) or above.

English language requirements

Undergraduate

For undergraduate courses, you should have completed your WAEC/National Examination Council (NECO) English Language with a grade C6 or better within the last two years.

Postgraduate 

You do not need to take an English language test for postgraduate courses, as long as your bachelors degree was taught and examined in English.

Pathway programmes

Edinburgh Napier University International College (ENUIC) is an embedded on campus college for international students to start their studies at Edinburgh Napier University. It is located in the historic, city centre campus of Merchiston, with easy access to student accommodation.

Pathway programmes at ENUIC prepare students for their chosen future degree with academic and English language support. ENUIC offers students the option between International Stage One, International Stage Two, or an International Incorporated Masters.

International Year One

Academic requirement - West African Senior School Certificate: 5 subjects at C6 (excluding native languages and vocational subjects)

International Year Two

Academic requirement - West African Senior: B3 average

Postgraduate

International Incorporated Masters

Academic requirement - HND or Bachelor Degree: Higher National Diploma (HND) with a GPA of 2.5 or better or Bachelor degree with Honours with a grade of third class
