Get ready to join us

If you have accepted your offer and are ready to start preparing for university, there are a few things you need to do before joining us.

Your adventure awaits, get ready!

Neil from our Student Recruitment Team is here to tell you everything you need to know about starting at university.

From applying for accommodation to sorting your timetable, we’ve got you and will be here to guide you.

1. Apply for accommodation

Once you have a confirmed place, you will be able to apply for accommodation. The guarantee deadline is Friday 23 August at 3pm, so make sure you apply by then to avoid disappointment.

Ensure that you read our accommodation guarantee to find out if you're eligible to apply.

2. Fees and funding

There's plenty of time to get your student funding in place. Get in touch with your student funding body and let them know you'll be coming to study with us.

Remember to check out our bursaries and scholarships to see what additional support you may be eligible for.

3. Registration

The registration process is when you officially become an Edinburgh Napier student. There's a few steps and we'll email you all the relevant information. Don't worry if your friends hear from us before you do, we send the information in batches!

You will choose your classes and get your timetable during the registration period.

4. Prepare for Freshers' Week

The week before classes start is known as Freshers’ Week. This is when you will move into your accommodation and start getting to know your classmates and lecturers. There will be lots of events and opportunities to kick-start your student adventure so get involved! Read our advice for getting started at university.

We're here to make your experience the best it can be. Don't forget to tell us about any support requirements so we can ensure you have the best start to university life. Get in touch with our Disability and Inclusion team at disabilityandinclusion@napier.ac.uk to speak with one of our advisors.
