The University has partial scholarships for self-funding students from Latin America.

About the scholarship

Students who are from Latin America and who are self-funding their course are eligible for a £4,000 scholarship for entry onto a full-time programme in September 2025.

For anyone applying to start a taught Masters course at Edinburgh Napier University in June 2025, please refer to our June 2025 Scholarship.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for this award, you must: 
  • be living in any of the following countries at the time of application; Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela.
  • be self-funding your course 
  • be holding an unconditional offer to study a taught masters course
  • have made your £6000 deposit payment toward your fees
Please note – If you have discounted tuition fees from a partner university or are in receipt of another scholarship, you are not eligible for this scholarship.
 
MRes programmes and the following Masters degrees are not eligible for this award:
  • MBA (Business Leadership and Practice)
  • MBA (Strategic Project Management)
  • MSc Global Hospitality Management (extended)
  • MSc Computing with Professional Placement
  • MSc Pharmaceutical & Analytical Science

How to apply

Apply by completing the scholarship application form available from the International Team or contact one of our local representatives in your country.

You do not need to hold an unconditional offer or to have paid the deposit at the time of applying for this scholarship. If your scholarship application is successful, the scholarship will be awarded to you on receipt of your deposit payment.

Selection procedure

The number of scholarships is limited and they are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Visa requirement

If successful, the scholarship amount will be shown on the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) email that we issue for your Student Route Visa application.
