Albert Morris Scholarships

Given in memory of Albert Morris, for four decades a distinguished journalist on The Scotsman. Wry, sardonic and self-deprecating, his writing style at one time made him required reading on Scottish journalism courses.

  • Open to Postgraduate MA Journalism students. £12,000 will be awarded to the student evidencing the most need for support in order to complete their studies on the Journalism MA at Edinburgh Napier University.
  • For Undergraduate BA Journalism students in Year 1. £8,000 will be given to the successful students over four years. These scholarships will be awarded to the students evidencing the most need for support in order to complete their studies in Journalism at Edinburgh Napier University.

The Clements Family Scholarship

The Clements Family Scholarship have been supporting aspiring journalists since 2015, helping them make the most of their university experience and realise their full potential.

To be eligible for the Clements Family Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently matriculated, full year BA (Hons) Journalism student
  • Studying your first degree
  • Able to demonstrate financial hardship

 

To be considered for these funding opportunities, you must visit the Find-a-Fund portal. You must first complete the questions listed within the General Application and the Living Costs Questions. Once these are submitted, we will then automatically match you to the funding opportunities that you could be eligible for, which may include this one.
