Ian Tomlin Music PhD Scholarship

Funded by the legacy of philanthropist and friend of Edinburgh Napier Ian Tomlin, the Ian Tomlin PhD Scholarships support students experiencing financial need.

For 2024 entrants:

  • Successful applicants will receive £5,000 per annum, up to a maximum of three years (£15,000 in total) towards the study of a PhD in Music at Edinburgh Napier University.
  • The Scholarship is towards fees and will be applied directly to the successful student’s fees account.
  • There is one scholarships available.
  • Applicants must identify financial need through their application on the Find-a-Fund system.
  • Applicants must have a firm offer of a place from Edinburgh Napier and be in possession of a Napier Student Number.
