Garrick Scholarship

Scholarship Details

The Garrick Scholarship was established at Edinburgh Napier University in 2007 through an annual donation by a Hong Kong based British Businessman who is a descendent of David Garrick, the eighteenth-century theatre impresario and who is a generous supporter and adviser to Edinburgh Napier University. This scholarship enables an exceptional international student to develop their talent at the prestigious Screen Academy Scotland, benefiting from Edinburgh’s connections as an international centre for creative industries.

The two scholarships provide funding of up to £7,500 towards the payment of tuition fees to support talented students studying MA Screenwriting and MA Film at Edinburgh Napier University.

Criteria For Applicants

  • International Students who are interested and eligible for postgraduate study full-time on the MA Film or MA Screenwriting programmes.
