Challenge (ELTIS Plus)
This project is implementing two inter-related activities: the management of the European Local Transport Information Service website, www.eltis.org, and the promotion of the uptake of sustainable urban mobility plans across all member states.  The ELTIS website is being fully overhauled and relaunched to make it more attractive to use; and, through a large number of local training and awareness-raising events as well as by the production of promotional and training material, the concept and content of SUMPs is being promoted, related to the European Council of Transport Ministers’ 2010 decision on the topic.  TRI is responsible for monitoring and evaluation of the project; has a key role in developing training material on SUMPs; and is topic expert for a significant part of the ELTIS website case studies.  In addition, it is in charge of English language quality assurance.
