First year visit to The National Mining Museum
Ever wondered how your degree could start at Edinburgh Napier?
Our first year engineering students visited the National Mining Museum of Scotland to learn first-hand about how past engineering methods have worked in practice, whilst also discovering the human element that has helped to drive it forward. In this video, we tour the museum with our students and staff, who give us a unique insight into their day beyond the classroom and how it has impacted their student journey so far.
“The trip gave me a lot of insight into what you, as an engineer, could be doing to help shape industries and people's lives. This appeals to me and keeps me motivated.” - Patrick Horne, Electronic & Electrical Engineering student.
